This document provides an overview of the agricultural rehabilitation of gravel quarries, on the basis of three sources of information: files concerning experiments that took place during the years 1974-1990 within the framework of the "quasi-tax" management committee; articles and reports on recent methods of quarry rehabilitation in the different countries of Europe, in Canada and in the United States, and; a field survey phase concerning rehabilitation carried out during the years 1974-1990 and recent reforestation projects or those in progress. It is earmarked for quarry operators and farmers who would like to take advantage of 25 years of experience.
