Dr Isabelle Oswald is Director of Research at the INRAE's Food Toxicology Unit (Toxalim) in Toulouse. She is an expert for the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the French National Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health Safety (Anses), and the Joint FAO-WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (Jecfa). Specialist in mycotoxin toxicology, she is also vice-president of the ISM (International Society for Mycotoxicology).
